How Digital Agencies celebrated Halloween 2017
One of the most important celebrations that take place all over the world every year is Halloween, also known as Hallowe’en (an abreviation for All Hallows’ Evening).
Every 31st of October, many countries participate in this spooky celebration, which happens to be on the day before All Hallows’ Day, also known as All Saints’ Day in the Christian calendar.
The origin of the festival is still disputed, but the origins of trick or treating and dressing up were already done in the 16th century in Ireland, Scotland and Wales, where people went door-to-door in costume asking for food in exchange for a poem or song.
Nowadays, Halloween activities include trick-or-treat, attend costume parties, carve pumpkins into jack-o’-lanterns, light bonfires, apple bobbing, play pranks, visit haunted attractions, tell scary stories and watch some classic horror films.
This year, Halloween fell on a Tuesday and we did a review at how digital agencies celebrated this year.
