Eurobest brings creativity into London
December 4th, 2017
Eurobest, the Festival of European Creativity, brought its brand of future-facing celebration to London from 28-30 November to highlight and reward Europe’s extraordinary creative output, with a full programme of events, seminars and workshops.
Organized by the world’s leading festival of creativity, Cannes Lions, eurobest is a three-day bonanza of learning, networking and celebrations for the European creativity community. Each year, people from across the branded communications landscape come to the festival to see who’s setting the creative agenda in Europe.
“Eurobest has moved across Europe for the past 10 years and we’re delighted to bring it to London for the 30th edition. As one of the economic leaders in Europe, with a vibrant creative community, London feels like the perfect place to bring a festival focused on the future,” said Jose Papa, Managing Director at Cannes Lions.
Emerging talent, big industry names and even bigger ideas came together in the UK capital for a programme of experimental talks, intensive training programmes and the chance to network and see Europe’s best creative work – also competing for the Eurobest Awards.
The awards celebrate, nurture and set the standard for brilliant work in the European creative communications industry each year, distributed among 23 categories such as creative data, digital craft, healthcare, media, innovation, interactive, mobile and outdoor.
A series of talks, discussions, interactive workshops and live demos were set to inspire, inform and ignite debate. Issues such as resilient design, storytelling, leadership, freelance economy and podcasting were under debate, with the possibility of also discussing them in the networking spaces throughout the three days.
Since 2008, the festival has travelled around Europe with the goal to drive and inspire creativity across the continent. Previous editions have been held in Lisbon, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Hamburg, Helsinki, Antwerp and Rome, welcoming the community of art directors, copywriters, media agency executives, among others.
