Sharon is the managing editor of Mashable, where she is responsible for editorial strategy, operations and staff hiring and management. Previously, she held the position of features editor, building and overseeing the site’s guest writer and contributor programs and co-creating the popular Mashable Guide Books for Twitter and Facebook. Sharon joined Mashable in June 2008 as assistant editor.
Before joining Mashable, Sharon held positions in media and communications. She also co-founded and subsequently sold MySocialDog, a hyper-local social network for dog owners.
Sharon is a graduate of the State University of New York at New Paltz and received her B.A. in journalism. She is based in New York.
