Digital Marketing Strategist – Chinese Marketing

The ideal candidate is a “tactical strategist”, meaning you are just as energized thinking about the big picture as you are executing campaigns. The digital marketing strategist position includes working with Major Tom Account Managers who manage a portfolio of clients. While the Account Managers are in a more client facing role, Coordinators work on the creation and execution of campaigns within the client team.

What we are looking for
– Must be able to communicate in Mandarin (both written and verbal)
– 2+ years working in a digital marketing agency or in an in-house digital marketing position
– Good presentation skills and comfortable speaking in client/project meetings
– 2+ years campaign management in Google AdWords
– Experience with Google Analytics
– Experience running Facebook paid social campaigns
– Knowledge of Chinese Baidu PPC advertising
– Knowledge of the Weibo platform and Weibo advertising
– Knowledge of WeChat platform and WeChat advertising
– Knowledge of Chinese technology ecosystem
– Knowledge of search engine optimization
– Experience in digital media planning and buying
– Ability to maintain job performance and a positive attitude in an entrepreneurial organization that is going through hyper growth

What You’ll Get To Do
– Assist account managers and sales staff with initial meetings with potential clients
– Create and execute paid search and paid social campaigns on Chinese platforms such as Baidu, WeChat, Weibo etc
– Create, plan and execute on digital media buys on Adroll, DoubleClick and other networks
– Set up and manage Google AdWords campaigns
– Create and execute on SEO strategies
– Create and execute on Google Analytics implementations
– Create monthly reports for clients that offer insights into initiatives undertaken by Marketing
– Develop strategies for clients that will help them reach their goals within the budgetary constraints
– Monitor client marketing initiatives on a weekly basis to ensure that the activities undertaken match the budget of the project and will help the client achieve their goals
– Proactively make strategic campaign recommendations to clients
