Pete founded Mashable in 2005 as a blog focused on up-to-the-minute news on social networks and digital trends. Since then, Mashable quickly grew to be one of the top 10 and most profitable blogs in the world.

Pete was named one of Ad Age’s 2011 influencers, a Time Magazine 100 in 2010, and a Forbes magazine web celeb 25. He was also named a Briton of the year by the Telegraph in 2010.

Pete is based in San Francisco and divides his time between California and New York.

Adam Ostrow is a new media entrepreneur, consultant, and commentator. Adam is a graduate of The University of Maryland, from which he holds a B.A. in Journalism and was awarded Most Outstanding Senior in the school’s prestigious Hinman CEOs program. Sharon Feder Managing Editor

Sharon is the managing editor of Mashable, where she is responsible for editorial strategy, operations and staff hiring and management. Previously, she held the position of features editor, building and overseeing the site’s guest writer and contributor programs and co-creating the popular Mashable Guide Books for Twitter and Facebook. Sharon joined Mashable in June 2008 as assistant editor.

Before joining Mashable, Sharon held positions in media and communications. She also co-founded and subsequently sold MySocialDog, a hyper-local social network for dog owners.

Sharon is a graduate of the State University of New York at New Paltz and received her B.A. in journalism. She is based in New York.
