Five digital agencies working closely with Microsoft

Microsoft is one of the biggest technology companies in the world, enabling digital transformation for the era of an intelligent cloud and an intelligent edge. Its mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more and to do so it offers many products and services.

Digital agencies from around the world have partnered with Microsoft over the years, delivering solutions to Microsoft’s diverse needs – from campaigns to videos. We selected five agencies that have lately been working with the tech giant and took a look at their exciting work

Dentsu

Dentsu Aegis Network is a global agency group that supports global clients, such as General Motors, P&G and Kraft Heinz, with media, creative and CRM agency services.  It helps its clients to speak to their customers in a personal way, boost creative optimization and understand marketing effectiveness.

In 2014, Microsoft selected Dentsu Aegis Network to handle search advertising and media buying and planning. The collaboration was then extended in 2018. Over the years, the two have collaborated together. This includes the introduction of the Surface Book in the Netherlands, for example, producing two format videos.

R/GA

R/GA is an atypical design & innovation company. It helps brands and businesses find the fastest, most human path to growth. A leader in technology and creativity for more than 40 years, R/GA has expanded and evolved in anticipation of technology’s impact on its clients’ businesses to offer transformative services through its award-winning services.

When Windows 10 arrived in 2015, it was a Windows the world had never seen before. Microsoft approached R/GA to find a way to introduce Windows10 to everyone. The solution was creating an interactive showcase to demonstrate the best of Windows 10 in a personal and humanized video experience. They reacher over 12 million visitors.

Ignite

Ignite Partnership is a creative consultancy designed to help innovative brands thrive in a post-advertising world. With fresh thinking, strategic insights, and creative vision, its team of professionals works to shorten the line between product introduction and mass adoption by delivering ideas and content that are relevant, useful, and interesting.

The agency worked with Microsoft and Best Buy ahead of the launch of Office 365 in 2011. They created a simplified aisle shipper to create a disruptive, modular solution that helped shoppers pick the right version while saving Microsoft up to 50% on production costs. This created a positive energy for Microsoft across all product lines.

Brass Ideas

Brass Ideas is a branding and advertising agency that specializes in solving difficult challenges. The agency believes in intellectual honesty, the power of emotion to drive decisions, over-servicing clients. They have experience with technology and consumer advertising, as well as offering branding consultancy.

The agency launched the “Group Therapy” campaign with Microsoft, which they describe as the most successful Lumia campaign ever. They had a low budget and there was low awareness of the brand so Brass Ideas decided to focus on the user and not the product, making Microsoft users feel good for a change.

Viewstream

Based in California, Viewstream is a creative digital agency built on the belief that amazing creative stories can drive your business forward. They partner with innovative companies to build brands, launch digital marketing and acquire customers. They have received plenty of awards over the years such as Telly and Hermes.

Viewstream has collaborated with Microsoft over the years, doing everything from events to campaigns. This has included an event in Chicago in 2017 to present Dynamics 365 and a video campaign to present Microsoft IoT solutions, for example.
