Held in the growing tech hub Boston, the latest edition of eTail East gathered over 100 speakers from America’s largest retailers, innovative start-ups, and eCommerce disruptors.
The event for eCommerce & Omni-Channel Innovators started on Monday 19th with the Transform Summits, which were divided in three tracks taking place simultaneously: each focusing on different aspects of retailing (Transform search and acquisition, Transform e-mail and retention, Transform content).
The summits was thought solely on the hottest areas challenging retail today, and aimed at providing retailers with tools to leverage visibility in search engines, at improving retailers and customers e-mail experience, and at educating and entertaining customers through content.
The main event began on Tuesday 20th and went on until Thursday afternoon. Day one dealt about omni-channel and the connected customer. Keynotes and discussions offered insight into reimagining customers’ digital experience, engaging them through omni-channel, shifting from eCommerce to an omni-channel brand for example.
Day two addressed the digital growth and new commerce experiences, and the last day focused on Retail disruption and the Future of eCommerce.

Outside the session room, eTail East curated new experiences to enhance relationships and spark innovation with events to meet, connect and exchange ideas such as: Suite and retreat, Disruptor diaries, Partnership pavilion, Round retailer tables and Women in retail, Transform summits.

Other events to enjoy and relax included Wicked good Eats, Cocktails & Conversations, Dance through the decades and of course The Expo.
The expo was the place to go scout current and future eCommerce tech. Attendees had the opportunity to see demos, win cash prizes and participate in game tournaments, to name a few.
