The festival proposes a space for people to converge and converse in a dialogue that stimulates a culture of design. This new edition features more than 200 activities in an extensive program across a month and a half. The entire city is revolutionized by the festival, with thousands of participants involved.
Activities are structured around different focuses. First, there’s Madrid Diseña, the umbrella under which all the private and public initiatives converge. Exhibitions, showrooms, Open Studios, and all kinds of activities are included in the programming of a festival that tries to decipher the world that is yet to come.
Tejiendo Redes is an exercise of visibility and value enhancement around essential issues where design is not seen. It also aims to be an exercise in relationships, a meeting point with other cities, professionals, industries, and institutions to demonstrate, from practice, the power of joining sensitivities.
There’s also Fiesta Design, a physical celebration with installations, workshops, meetings, exhibitions, and presentations of both brands and institutions. And finally, Diseñoesfera, the union of business and design, the right atmosphere for new projects to flourish, linking the professional sector with implementation.
