Taking place in Chicago for three consecutive days, marketers, communication professionals and social media experts gathered for the Social Media Strategies Summit, a must-attend annual event and the longest running in the US focused on social media.
The event was a unique opportunity to see how today’s leading brands and marketers are leveraging social media channels and strategies to drive success in their organizations. Workshops, talks, case studies and tutorials were all part of the Social Media Strategies Summit.
This year’s conference was specifically designed to help businesses and brands discover how to best use social media tools like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter and LinkedIn to find and cultivate followers, increase sales and generate brand awareness.
Among the main topics, the conferences included talks on video marketing, multilingual social media, content production, artificial intelligence and social media, how to use it to align sales and marketing and how to engage and manage influencers in a marketing campaign.
An exclusive list of speakers was developed for the event, each providing different insights throughout the three days. Elly Deutch Moody, Digital Communications Manager at Mc Donald’s, Chris Marino, Digital Media Acquisition Director at American Express and Katie O’Gorman, Social media strategy director at Coca Cola were only some of the highlighted names of the list.
It was a highly informative conference, with plenty of chances to apply the knowledge acquired. Invitees learned about best practices across platforms and the role of social media in marketing, while also networking among themselves to develop new opportunities for the future.
