Ruckus, a full-service agency based in New York that powers game-changing brands, was nominated for two Emmy awards this year for its work for Crayola and Good Shepherd Rehabilitation, both clients of the agency. The awards will be presented in September in an online ceremony due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Ruckus has worked with Crayola for several years, producing inspiring branded content that tells stories of humanity, relationships, and growth. The Emmy nomination, included in the category of health, science and environment, was for the piece called Brian’s Dots, which focused on the story of Brian Delozier. Brian found his calling as an artist when a skiing accident changed his life forever.
Through his journey, Ruckus walk us through his connection with nature and invites us to explore the world through his lens. As an artist, Brian found his form of expression through dot-art, a method that despite his physical challenges, he conquers daily.
The second Emmy nomination for Ruckus was on the branded content category and came thanks to the piece produced for Good Shepherd, a rehabilitation network that brings hope and quality of life improvement for hundreds of patients each year. The piece shares the incredible story of Megan.
At just sixteen, Megan fell off of the uneven bars while practicing for her next gymnastics competition and became paralyzed from the neck down. The piece takes us through a rollercoaster of emotion, shining light not just on Megan’s long road to recovery, but all the people involved in every aspect of her journey and care.
Boasting a track record that can speak for itself, Ruckus was founded in 2004 by Josh Wood. The agency commits itself to provide “Expertly Crafted Disruption” leveraging a team of industry leaders to build brands, platforms, and campaigns that stand out in even the most crowded spaces.
