Search Love gathers marketers in San Diego

Marketers gathered at the Search Love conference in San Diego.

Dozens of marketers and members from digital agencies from across the world gathered in San Diego, United States, for two days of networking and training at the Search Love conference, organized by Distilled, a global marketing agency.

The conference was an opportunity for attendees to power up their skills with cutting edge digital marketing presentations at the Kona Kai resort. From analytics and optimization, to content and paid promotions, all the crucial topics were covered throughout the two days.

Search Love was specifically targeted to business owners, marketing managers, agency SEOs and in-house SEOs. All of them could compare experiences among colleagues, learn about the latest techniques to apply at the office and widen their field of knowledge.

At day one, Britney Muller from Moz focused on machine learning and how to apply it to digital marketing, while Heather Physioc from VMLY&R provided tools and techniques for search programs. At the same time, Lindsay Dayton LaShell gave strategies for results on Facebook regardless budgets and James Corr from Seer focused on how to better communicate with data.

The training continued on day two, with valuable presentations. Ross Simmonds provided techniques and examples for marketers to identify content opportunities worth chasing, while Lisa Schneider from Merrian-Webster, explained how successful social media can improve our SEO.

After two busy days working, attendees had the chance to network and learn from each other at a set of social gatherings. A small group attended an exclusive VIP dinner while discussing hot topics in online marketing. Others attended the Search Love party in the hotel Garden, while another group were part of the industry drinks, exchanging contact details while enjoying cocktails.
