Every year, Macmillan Cancer Support, hosts The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, the biggest fundraising event for people facing cancer.
People from all over the UK are asked to host their own Coffee Mornings and donations on the day are made to Macmillan. In 2016, they raised £29.5 million and this year it is hope to raise even more.

The first Coffee Morning happened in 1990. It was a small affair with a simple idea: guests would gather over coffee and donate the cost of their cuppa to Macmillan in the process. It was so effective, that the next year they did it again – only this time nationally. Since then, Coffee Morning has raised over £165.5 million for Macmillan.
Anyone who wanted to get involved, only needed to sign up and within 10 – 12 working days, Macmillan sent you a kit. Many agencies were thrilled about the idea and they’ve been preparing for this day for a long time…
