Digital agencies celebrate #NationalSelfieDay
It hasn’t been yet many years since technology appeared in the world, but certainly nowadays, mobile phones and especially social media, are an important part of our lives.
One form of communication or self-expression, it’s the act of taking a picture of yourself with a mobile phone or any camera and posting it to social media. Most known as selfie.
This phenomenon has swept all over the world and as a result, since 2014, June 21st has been named as the National Selfie Day. Plus, in 2013, the word selfie, was named as word of the year by Oxford Dictionaries.
Pose. Snap. Filter. Upload. That’s all you have to do to post a new selfie on your feed. Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, were some of the networks that many digital agencies from UK and USA chose to post selfies and celebrate the holiday.
