Meeting in person for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic, the European Search Awards rewarded and celebrated the best companies and people working in Europe in in PPC, SEO, and Content Marketing across a variety of business sectors, in a shifting digital landscape which inspires innovation, creativity and connectivity.

The event took place at La Llotja de Mar in Barcelona, with Spanish singer and actor Ricky Merino acting as the main host. It was a perfect opportunity to network and celebrate the achievements of leading European companies and individuals amongst peers, friends and colleagues in the search industry.

Launch won as the best small PPC agency, while Peak Ace AG won as the best large PPC agency. Re:signal got the award for best small SEO agency, while Evolved Search for the best large SEO agency. Cedarwood Digital won for best small integrated search agency and Hallam for best large integrated agency.

Under best use of search in retail, Re:signaland ASICS won for their campaign Going the Extra Mile and Up&Moreand Sephora for their sweet scent of app marketing. Meanwhile, under best use of search in tourism, iProspect Ireland and Aer Linguswond for their campaign called A Journey To A Better Place.

Under best local campaign in SEO, Reprise Digital & Kleenex won for their campaign Your Pollen Pal, while under best local campaign In PPCWolfgang Digital and Intersport Elverys won for While Jeff is in Space…Elverys is the place. Also, Up&MoreandPanekgot the award for best low budget campaign for Road to the Top.

The awards welcomed entries from across all 44 European countries, which were reviewed by industry experts from across Europe – hand-picked for their expertise, insight and experience. It was a rigorous process, looking at every aspect of a campaign from concept to application, to audience experience, to profitability.

The European Search Awards is organized by We Are Search and British events agency Don’t Panic. As well as the European Search Awards, We Are Search also organizes similar events in other parts of the world, including awards for best work done in UK, the US, Canada and Asia, as well as a global edition.
