On Friday 15th of December, many digital agencies got together to participate under the #ChristmasJumperDay to collaborate with Save the Children organization. The initiative consisted on simply dig out your favorite festive sweater and wear it that day, whether you were going to work, school or just being at home with your family or friends.
On Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day, thousands wore their daftest woollies and donated money to help safe children’s lives around the world. Everyone could participate, no matter if you bought, borrow, decorated or even knitted a jumper. The rule was just to wear a sweater and invite others to do the same.
But it had a funny part as well. If you got registered with a group of people, for example at work, you could set up a group text code and spread it around, so anyone who texted under your group nickname, automatically donated 5 pounds to your team’s Christmas Jumper Day total; and once the fundraising was over you could look for your group name and check out the leaderboard to see how much your team donated to this amazing cause.
Of course agencies couldn’t miss to share their lovely sweaters on social media and since we enjoy their contents very much we decided to share a few of those who participated and make our own post. Check them out!
