Upli is an innovative Fintech brand and your one-stop-shop for financial wellness. The company wanted to redefine how employees and especially millennials engaged with individual finances, helping them to build credit and maintaining a a monthly budget.
The final mobile app product is something truly unique, yet simple enough that allows people to track finances much like you track your health. Isadora Agency was tasked by Upli with the app design, mobile strategy, illustration and iconography which included over 100 different screens views..
The core of the app design revolved around essential features that include budgeting, spending, and saving. The goal of the mobile app was to break down big life goals like buying a house or a car, into small actionable daily tasks, such as reducing your daily spend at Starbucks. Taking something that feels out of reach and making it attainable with small changes was the key. The app also introduces a budget wizard setup that organizes expenses by Needs, Wants and Saved categories, to create visibility on where people may be under or over budget.
Layers of friendly reminders and updates show how much you’ve saved or how close you remained within your budget provide, while providing multiple reasons to visit the app frequently.

Cutting-edge tools and intelligent messaging throughout the experience educate users as they grow more comfortable with individual finances. Every little detail, graph, chart, character, and icon was meticulously handcrafted by our various design artists from Isadora Agency’s team.
The agency chose a bold and vibrant color palette that makes an immediate and memorable impact. Progress bars and goal overview cards provide the user with reasons to check back frequently. With a minimalist design, users can quickly move from one category to the next. A personal dashboard was also created.
